Dandelion Acres invites you to an hour of practice.
Many of us are overwhelmed with the violence being perpetrated by our government and are not sure where to turn. Should we run into the streets to protest or hide under our covers in bed?
Dandelion Acres is offering a way for us to show up. Let’s get together on ZOOM and transform our grief into healing energy for ourselves and the planet.
Our next gathering is Sunday, February 8, 2026 and Dandelion Acres invites you to an hour of practice to support one another during this turbulent time.
The gathering will start at 1:00 Pacific, 2:00 Mountain, 3:00 PM Central, 4:00 Eastern on ZOOM. Link to the event:

Brenda and I are currently developing a lay Buddhist retreat center on twenty beautifully wooded acres in Northern Minnesota. It is a bit of a hike to get here, but well worth the adventure. When you join us for in-person retreats, you can walkthrough, sit in, listen to, and become part of wooded and grassy land. You may encounter bald eagles, deer, bears, coyotes, rabbits, wolves, and other wild creatures who make their home here. You can also join many of our retreats via ZOOM! While ZOOM-based retreats may not give you a chance to hear the call of an eagle or breathe the fresh clean air of the vast forests of our region, virtual retreats can be a cost effect and accessible way to participate in retreats that fit your needs and lifestyle. Dandelion Acres is about 20 acres nestled in Northern Minnesota, and ten of those acres consist of a hardwood and pine forest with maintained walking trails. There is a house that is our residence and a Zendo (Dandelion House) that will provide space to house visiting teachers and retreat guests. There are about four acres of grass for those who will choose to camp on the grounds during retreats.
